Won summary judgment at the trial court disposing of approximately $13 million claim for the client. On appeal before the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Federal Circuit, successfully argued that a general engineering consultant performing engineering and supervisory services for a regional transportation authority on a light rail construction project was entitled to sovereign immunity on the general contractor’s tort claims of professional negligence and misrepresentation arising out of the construction project.
