MONICA BETAQUE

“Grau Law is well known for our thoughtful, diligent approach to working through the issues of each case, resulting in a perfectly effective resolution for the client.”

214 521-4145

Monica Betaque enjoys the practice of law and is driven to achieve the best possible results for her clients.  It is with this enthusiasm and determination that she approaches each of her cases.  She practices in the areas of employer and professional liability and catastrophic loss.

After practicing for a number of years with the Firm, she took time off to care for her boys and establish herself as an active member of the community. She was awarded a seat in the Leadership Lovejoy program in 2016 and helped to evaluate issues affecting the Lovejoy Independent School District. She was also awarded a place in the Go Govern program, led by the Honorable Florence Shapiro, and attended committee meetings in Austin during the 2017 legislative session.

She is also a sustainer in the Junior League of Dallas and for the past several years has focused her volunteer efforts on helping those affected by domestic violence.  Ms. Betaque volunteered with The Family Place of Dallas, the largest domestic violence agency in Texas, and answered calls on their hotline.

Ms. Betaque earned her bachelor’s degree in 1998 from Texas A&M University and her law degree in 2002 from Wake Forest University School of Law. She received her Texas law license that same year. In 2006, she was selected to the list of Texas Rising Stars, a distinction earned by only 2.5% of Texas attorneys under age 40 each year from recommendations by older, more experienced colleagues and featured in Texas Monthly.

She rejoined Grau Law at the beginning of 2018 and welcomes the opportunity to serve her clients once again.
